Continuum of Colorado’s Activity Services department has a fantastic opportunity as the Elevate 365 Supervisor. You'll get to oversee the day-to-day operations of our programs; assure effective and efficient operation of the programs and delivery of quality services; direct staff duties and activities; and assure programs are conducted as required. You'll be supporting the program staff and participants at both of our day program locations in Aurora, CO.

We do need some flexibility with this role depending on departmental needs. We’re committed to a great work-life balance with a four-day work week!

 

More about what you’ll get to do as our Elevate 365 Supervisor

  • Plan and organize Special Olympic and Special Programs; serve as the liaison to the Special Olympic Colorado Office (SOCO) and other community partners
  • Evaluate program goals, resources and needs to ensure quality services are delivered; assist in developing plans to meet needs and goals for people in services; oversee implementation
  • Develop resources to increase individuals’ in services involvement in activities; coordinate with other our programs such as Residential and Community Outreach, to maximize participant involvement in activities
  • Prepare, review and track documentation including monthly summaries, Incident Reports, annual assessments, billing, daily notes, Individual Service and Support Plans (ISSPs), Comprehensive Life Reviews and Functional Analyses, etc
  • Write ISSPs and protocols per service plan; prepare and assure documentation is complete in preparation for Service Plan meetings and IDT meetings
  • Develop and maintain case files in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
  • Assure relevant day-to-day and emergency information is communicated to staff, facilities, families, and other involved agencies and their respective staff
  • Assist in providing direct care support and on-call emergency back-up as needed
  • Ensure billing is completed accurately and timely and manage all funds appropriately

Qualifications

Must have’s to be our Elevate 365 Supervisor

  • Associate’s degree or advanced study at an accredited college or university; Bachelor’s degree preferred; OR four (4) years of experience working in the developmental disabilities field may be considered
  • Two (2) years supervisory and management experience (preferably in the developmental disabilities field)
  • Ability to effectively manage daily program operations
  • Working knowledge of the I/DD system, rules and regulations, preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work as appropriate
  • Valid Colorado driver license/Proof of auto insurance
  • Meet and maintain our driving requirements; no suspensions/revocations in the past 3 years and no more than 2 tickets in the past 3 years
